Copy Everyone at a Customer on Order Emails

One powerful feature at a time.

Copy Everyone at a Customer on Order Emails

The Problem

Your order emails go to one address at the customer, usually the owner. Then the bar manager asks when the kegs are arriving and accounts payable wants the invoice, and you end up forwarding the same PDF twice.

The Solution

Add each person as a Contact on the customer form. Every contact with an email address is copied on every order email BarSight sends that customer: the order PDF, shipped notices, signed confirmations, payment received and refund notices. The Company Email stays the main address and everyone else rides along.

How to Use It

  1. Open the customer in Brewery → Customers
  2. Scroll to the Contacts box and click New Contact
  3. Enter their Name, a Title / Role such as Billing or Bar Manager, and their Email
  4. Click Save Contact
  5. Repeat for anyone else who should hear about orders

From now on, when you ship the order or click Email Order, each contact gets the same email as the Company Email, with the PDF attached.

You Get a Copy Too

Whoever triggers the email is copied on it as well, as long as their employee profile has an email address. You are also set as the reply-to, so when the customer hits reply, the answer lands in your inbox instead of an unmonitored address.

Pro Tip

Want a shared mailbox such as orders@ copied on every customer email, no matter who sends it? Add it to Email CC on the facility under Brewery Settings.
